Mimecast Targeted Threat Protection safeguards your organization and employees against sophisticated email-borne attacks. It helps defend against attackers trying to steal data or credentials, plant ransomware, trick employees into transferring money, and springboard to attack supply chains. These kinds of threats require advanced security measures over and above that provided by traditional email security systems.

URL protection rewrites links in emails to point to Mimecast links. When clicked, these are run on Mimecast servers against various AV and sandbox solutions. Also has a cool 'User Awareness' feature page which pops up when the link is clicked, asking the user if they think the link is safe or not before proceeding. If they click on an unsafe link, not only is it blocked but the click is logged and the user is informed politely that the link was unsafe.
Nothing so far.Because there are so many great features available, it's also a massive time sink when you first get it and can take time to build up your knowledge. That's not a fault of the product. There's a lot of video watching to be done!
Peace of mind. Exceptional protection from email-based threats such as malware and impersonation fraud. We can also report on and then target our click-happy users with some awareness training.
It was configured with high security where in no chance of threat.
I felt nothing to dislike. There are no specific reasons to dislike it.

I think Mimecast has a lot of cool features that allow for customization and effective email security.
The biggest issue with Mimecast is their support team. Attempting to receive support regarding an issue you may come across is almost impossible now.
Mimecast is a slid product but it requires learning and researching. If you understand the product you can get enough out of it, but the difficulties with the support over the years have left a negative taste in my mouth
